We are excited to announce that One Food Hall is currently hiring full-time and part-time Prep Cooks and Kitchen Team members. As a Prep Cook or Kitchen Team member, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that orders are executed efficiently and correctly. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous kitchen experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to lift moderate weights
- basic understanding of food preparation techniques
- willingness to work flexible shifts
Job Qualifications
- experience working in high volume kitchen environments
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- good communication and teamwork skills
- prior prep cook or kitchen assistant experience preferred
- basic knife skills and kitchen equipment operation knowledge
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients for cooking and service according to instructions
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- help manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency during busy hours
- support receiving and storage of deliveries
