The Food Preparation and Cooking position at Legends Global involves working in a fast-casual setting where the primary focus is on preparing and cooking food items to ensure guest satisfaction while maximizing food revenues. This role requires maintaining a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor, which reflects the company’s high standards for customer service. Employees in this position play a critical role in upholding the guest service philosophy, which serves as a guide for associates to provide a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This includes regularly reviewing assignments and operational updates with supervisors to stay aligned with business needs and performance expectations.

In this role, maintaining the highest quality of food products is paramount, consistently meeting County Health and Sanitation guidelines and internal standards set by Legends Hospitality. The employee is also responsible for ensuring all equipment is operational and cleaned regularly to maintain safety and quality standards. Flexibility is key, as the role may require rotating between various service locations to support daily operations. The position demands a strong team-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills to foster positive client relations, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The offered pay rate is $19 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation for skilled and dedicated foodservice professionals.

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • servsafe certified
  • culinary degree or certification from an apprenticeship program
  • minimum of 2-3 years cooking experience in contract foodservice industry

Job Qualifications

  • servsafe certified
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • culinary degree or graduated from a certified apprenticeship program with a minimum of 2-3 years of cooking experience in the contract foodservice industry preferably in premium services catering and concessions environments for a sports and/or entertainment venue
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
  • strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative and leadership
  • customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management

Job Duties
