Job Requirements

  • One year of kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time or part time schedules, including weekdays and weekends
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of food preparation and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and production sheets accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets, taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to policy following HACCP guidelines
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as needed
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control
  • Resolve customer concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
