Job Description

Eurest is a globally recognized leader in the foodservice industry, known for its unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As a division of Compass Group, one of the world's largest foodservice companies, Eurest serves many Fortune 500 corporations with a focus on delivering high-quality, customized dining experiences that meet the unique needs of its diverse clientele. The company prides itself on embracing an ownership mindset, leveraging global resources while promoting a strong local presence to enrich the communities where it operates. Eurest's mission, encapsulated in "The Eurest Promise" — connect with people, inspire through food, create solutions, and live our promise — drives everything the company does from food preparation to customer service and community engagement.

The full-time Prep Cook position available at Eurest is located at the TD Synnex facility in Clearwater, Florida. This role is essential for ensuring that food preparation runs smoothly in alignment with rigorous company and sanitation standards. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, providing a consistent workweek with competitive hourly pay of $18.00. The role includes direct responsibilities in food production, quality assurance, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Candidates who have previous grill experience are preferred, given the nature of some of the food items prepared and served.

As a Prep Cook at Eurest, you will work closely with the Chef to obtain daily production schedules and ensure all food preparation follows established recipes and portion controls. You will be responsible for operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining accurate production and waste logs, tasting meals to assure quality, and serving customers efficiently and courteously. Strict compliance with HACCP guidelines and all federal, state, and local sanitation regulations is mandatory to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. The role also handsomely rewards commitment to teamwork and customer service, as successful Prep Cooks are integral to the seamless functioning of Eurest's foodservice operations.

In addition to a supportive and dynamic work environment, the position offers opportunities for growth and benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and various voluntary insurance options. Eurest values diversity, innovation, and inclusion, making it an excellent employer for individuals eager to start or further their careers in the foodservice industry. From taking internal employee referral bonuses to utilizing comprehensive benefit plans, Eurest strives to offer an all-encompassing employee experience where your contributions are recognized and rewarded.
