Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year of food service or related kitchen experience preferred
  • Must meet state and federal requirements for food handling
  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and mixers
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, prep lists, and instructions
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Showcase an inherent desire to take care of others
  • Complete assigned opening and closing prep tasks to ensure kitchen readiness
  • Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other ingredients according to recipes, portioning standards, and prep lists
  • Accurately measure, label, date, and rotate products in accordance with food safety and BOH procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, including tools, equipment, and prep areas
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, checking product quality and proper storage
