  • Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • excellent time management
  • ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking
  • measure and portion ingredients according to recipes
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas
  • follow kitchen procedures and maintain a clean and efficient workspace
  • assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, boiling, and sautéing under chef supervision
  • ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • store and label food items properly to prevent spoilage
  • work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
