The current role available is for a Prep Cook, a vital position within the culinary team responsible for supporting chefs in delivering outstanding meals. The Prep Cook plays an essential role in meal preparation by handling ingredient preparation, ensuring cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, and assisting with basic cooking tasks. This role demands strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in food preparation with a willingness to grow their skills in a dynamic setting. The Prep Cook will work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet high standards of food safety and sanitation, contributing directly to the quality and timely delivery of dishes to guests. Job Duties
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking
- measure and portion ingredients according to recipes
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas
- follow kitchen procedures and maintain a clean and efficient workspace
- assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, boiling, and sautéing under chef supervision
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- store and label food items properly to prevent spoilage
- work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
