Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience as a prep cook is preferred
  • Ability to work full time Wednesday through Sunday
  • Ability to follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior prep cook experience preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and production sheets accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong attention to detail in food preparation and quality control
  • Good interpersonal skills for customer service
  • Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
  • Capability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepare food items following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment according to department procedures
  • Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs
  • Follow federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously at multiple stations
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards for quality and portion control
  • Resolve customer concerns
  • Perform other assigned duties
