Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience as a prep cook is preferred
- Ability to work full time Wednesday through Sunday
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior prep cook experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and production sheets accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and quality control
- Good interpersonal skills for customer service
- Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- Prepare food items following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste meals to ensure quality
- Operate and clean equipment according to department procedures
- Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs
- Follow federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
- Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at multiple stations
- Use approved food recipes and production standards for quality and portion control
- Resolve customer concerns
- Perform other assigned duties
