  • Previous experience as a prep cook or line cook is preferred
  • Excellent understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently without supervision
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including washing, peeling, cutting and measuring
  • Read thoroughly and follow recipes accurately to prepare menu items
  • Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled and FIFO is properly used in accordance
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen including workstations, equipment and storage areas
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in inventory management and notify the Chef of any shortages or quality issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or General Manager
