The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation has a rich history that dates back many centuries to when their ancestors lived as a community of people, surviving through farming, hunting, and fishing. The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Prep Cook to join their Food and Beverage/Culinary team. This position operates under the direction of the designated venue Sous Chef. The Prep Cook plays a critical role in the kitchen by preparing vegetables, fruits, and proteins—cutting, slicing, chopping, and cleaning these ingredients according to approved standards. This position ensures that all food, equipment, and kitchen environments meet established health codes and casino standards, contributing to a safe and sanitary workspace. Moreover, the role requires maintaining a positive, team-oriented, and accommodating attitude towards both guests and fellow team members at all times.
