The Cooks Helper will be involved in a wide range of tasks essential to kitchen functionality. The successful candidate will work closely with our Room Chef and Master Cooks, aiding in inventory control and maintaining par stock levels to streamline kitchen operations. They will be responsible for adhering to and enforcing sanitation protocols, which is critical in delivering safe and high-quality meals to our customers. Safety is another crucial element of this role, with expectations to identify and report unsafe conditions promptly to management. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship preferred
  • Previous work experience as a Kitchen Helper or a similar role in the food industry
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Basic food preparation and handling skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepares high quality and consistent food products for his/her assigned outlet
  • Works in close conjunction with Room Chef and Master Cooks to maintain proper par stocks, inventory control, and quality of purchased goods
  • Checks the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and immediately reports any damaged or broken equipment to management
  • Follows all sanitation procedures as set by the company, maintaining the highest degree of cleanliness and organization within their outlet
  • Ensures all safety standards are followed and reports on all unsafe conditions to management
