Job Requirements

  • One or more years of kitchen experience
  • knowledge of food preparation and service
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • adherence to company uniform requirements including non-slip shoes
  • basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of kitchen experience
  • experience in catering preferred
  • knowledge of food preparation and food service
  • strong understanding of execution of BEOs
  • ability to read production sheets and complete tasks
  • capable of producing consistent products in high volume
  • customer service skills
  • planning and multi-tasking abilities
  • self-motivated with high energy
  • familiarity with reading recipes

Job Duties

  • Setting up and sanitizing workstations
  • following prep lists created by lead culinary
  • measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock
  • preparing simple dishes as directed by the Executive Chef
  • ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
  • assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise
  • supervising food and cooling room temperatures
