Job Duties
- Prepare a wide variety of ingredients including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, dressings, and marinades using established recipes and preparation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grate, slice, chop, blend, bread, and portion ingredients according to recipe specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared using proper food handling techniques, strictly adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Take responsibility for product quality, guaranteeing all prepared food meets Neighborly's standards of freshness, consistency, and presentation
- Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and standard preparation procedures to maintain consistency across all dishes and locations
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of prepared ingredients at line stations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service
- Portion food accurately before cooking according to recipe specifications and production needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe food preparation area at all times, including participation in opening and closing procedures
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations to protect customers and team members
