Job Description

Geronimo Hospitality Group is a dynamic and innovative hospitality company known for its award-winning collection of boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs. This group is not your typical hospitality employer; it embraces a culture that challenges the status quo and fosters a work environment where creativity, excellence, and hard work thrive. The company prides itself on being a trailblazer in the hospitality industry, setting new standards rather than following existing ones. They create destinations that leave lasting impressions rather than mere pit stops, ensuring a memorable experience for every guest. Their team is made up of passionate individuals eager to make an impact and push the boundaries of what hospitality can be.

One of the jewels in the Geronimo Hospitality Group’s portfolio is Bottleworks Hotel, a 104-key boutique hotel that masterfully blends historic architectural features with modern amenities. Situated in Indianapolis, the hotel caters to the modern traveler seeking both authenticity and comfort. The Bottleworks Hotel offers an environment where every detail matters and every guest experience counts.

The role offered is that of a Prep Cook, an essential position within the culinary team. The Prep Cook will be instrumental in ensuring that food items are prepared and cooked to the highest standards, following carefully standardized recipes and adhering strictly to food safety guidelines. This is a hands-on role that encompasses a variety of food preparation techniques such as measuring, washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving, and portioning. The Prep Cook is responsible not only for maintaining food quality but also for managing proper food storage, labeling, and workspace cleanliness after each shift.

This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about culinary arts and wants to grow professionally within a company that values skill, dedication, and a competitive spirit. Benefit-wise, Geronimo Hospitality Group offers a comprehensive package that includes employee discounts, paid time off, training and development opportunities, 401K plans, medical benefits, round-the-clock online care, and even pet insurance, making it a supportive workplace that rewards effort and talent.

At Geronimo Hospitality Group, the Prep Cook will have their voice heard and will contribute actively to enhancing the guest experience. This role is not just about preparing meals; it is about creating memorable moments that define the brand and leave guests wanting to return. The company’s commitment to inclusivity and equal employment opportunity further underscores its dedication to fostering a collaborative, welcoming, and high-achieving team environment. If you have the skills, dedication, and energy to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative culinary setting, this role at Bottleworks Hotel within Geronimo Hospitality Group could be an excellent fit.
