The role available is for a Full-Time Prep Cook in their production facility. This position offers an hourly pay range of $21.30 to $24.00 and requires availability for a 36-hour work week, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. The Prep Cook will play a crucial role in supporting the confectionery production process in a fast-paced kitchen setting. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of candy and other food items, ensuring that all production areas and equipment are meticulously cleaned and sanitized in compliance with both company standards and legal regulations, including the Liquor & Cannabis Board compliance.

The Prep Cook must have prior experience working in a commercial kitchen or food production environment, ideally in a bakery or confectionery setting. The role involves hands-on tasks such as measuring and scaling ingredients, cutting candied fruit to prepare molds, and working with hot candy mixtures. The environment demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and a high degree of comfort with repetitive and fast-paced tasks. This role is instrumental in ensuring efficient production line operations while maintaining the quality and safety of all products.
