The Prep Cook position at Corporate Caffe focuses primarily on preparing and cooking a variety of foods requiring short preparation times with precision and care. Candidates will be responsible for reading food orders or receiving verbal instructions to ensure the accurate preparation and cooking of meals according to the customers' requests. The role demands proficiency in fast food cooking and grill cooking within a high-volume kitchen setting, where speed and quality must harmonize seamlessly.

- tastes products, reads menus, estimates food requirements, checks production, and keeps records for planning production requirements and requisitioning supplies
- cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment, follows company, client and regulatory rules and procedures
- sets steam tables and serves or ensures proper serving of food
- cleans area of responsibility and practices clean as you go
