Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to stand and walk for long periods
ability to carry and lift heavy objects
good oral communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience
2+ years in a prep cook role
high volume, scratch or upscale kitchen experience
excellent verbal and written communication skills
excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
organization and time management skills
prep cook experience

Job Duties

Follows established food safety guidelines, recipes, standards and procedures
maintaining a clean and food-safe environment
passionately preparing, portioning, and/or cooking food items according to quality specifications
assessing ingredients and items for freshness and quality, rotating product appropriately
be a team player and work with a positive and supportive attitude
adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the bakery
accommodate fluctuating business demands and work varied shifts
