Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

No prior experience necessary
Willing to learn and undergo training
Ability to follow instructions carefully
Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards

Job Duties

Responsible for preparing/cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep
Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
Able to check par's to see what is needed to prepare/cook for the day
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Working the line when needed
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
