Job Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in an assistant living setting
- Willing to learn and provide meal ideas
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Must be available to work Tuesday and Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines

Job Duties
- Ensures quality food service is always provided
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items
- Responsible for records from area worked during service periods
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Notify the culinary director of inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations
- Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system, verifying proper dating and organization for optimum freshness
