Job Description

Del Frisco's is a renowned restaurant brand known for offering an exceptional dining experience with a focus on quality food and excellent customer service. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, this establishment is part of Landry's, Inc., a leading hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues. Del Frisco's prides itself on its commitment to providing guests with a memorable dining experience through high standards of service and culinary excellence. The restaurant operates as a full-service steakhouse providing an upscale atmosphere combined with a welcoming environment for guests from all walks of life. As a member of Landry's family, employees benefit from a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.

The position available is for a Prep Cook, a critical role within the kitchen team responsible for supporting chefs and cooks to prepare ingredients and ensure that all dishes meet the high standards expected by Del Frisco's. This is an hourly, restaurant-based position located in Indianapolis and does not involve earning tips. The role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food and aspire to a career in the culinary industry. Del Frisco's provides structured training programs aimed at developing skills and offering clear pathways for career advancement within the company. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced work environment and are team players with a strong guest-first attitude.

The Prep Cook will be directly involved in the daily culinary operations that include preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen staff to keep the workflow efficient and effective. Employees in this role are considered valuable assets, and the company emphasizes a respectful workplace culture where diversity and inclusion are deeply respected and celebrated. Alongside competitive employee benefits, team members enjoy generous discounts on dining and other Landry’s amenities, flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance, and paid time off or sick leave depending on location. Participation in community volunteer programs is encouraged as part of Landry’s corporate social responsibility.

Joining Del Frisco's means becoming part of a winning team committed to excellence and guest satisfaction. The company’s mission extends beyond just serving food to creating joyful and memorable experiences for each guest who walks through the door. As a Prep Cook at Del Frisco's, individuals will gain valuable hands-on experience in the restaurant industry, enhance their culinary skills, and open up opportunities for future growth within a nationally recognized hospitality group. Potential candidates who embrace Landry’s “Be FAIR” philosophy—being friendly, accommodating, inclusive, and respectful—will find a nurturing environment to develop their career.
