The Prep Cook role is integral to Anthony's kitchen operations, ensuring that all ingredients are prepared accurately and efficiently to support chefs and the culinary team. Job Duties
- Wash, peel, chop, and measure ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- assist chefs and cooks by preparing basic components such as sauces, dressings, and garnishes
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including proper storage of ingredients
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- monitor inventory levels of prep items and communicate needs to kitchen management
- assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients
- support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing additional tasks as needed
