This role involves performing a wide array of tasks related to the preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products within the store's Prepared Foods venues. The position requires a consistent focus on ensuring a positive company image by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and fellow team members. Employees in this role must adhere strictly to the store's standard operating procedures and health and safety regulations. The responsibilities include assisting with food production, maintaining high standards for product labeling and quality, documenting waste and spoilage, and ensuring all recipes and measuring requirements are met accurately. Additionally, employees play a key role in educating customers about the unique qualities of Whole Foods Market products compared to conventional grocery stores. The job also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in storage areas, providing excellent customer service by addressing needs promptly, maximizing sales potential through proper product handling and merchandising, and supporting overall store goals and initiatives.
