Located in the Regency Mall, Flower Child is preparing to launch a new restaurant this summer and is looking to build a talented kitchen team to support its opening. The role of Prep Cook at Flower Child is key to maintaining the restaurant's high standards of food quality and presentation. This position requires someone with at least 1 year of high-volume restaurant experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen environment. This individual will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items — ranging from meats and seafood to vegetables and other healthy ingredients — by using a variety of kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers. Accuracy in portioning and adhering to recipes is critical to ensure consistency and excellent guest satisfaction.

Safety and sanitation are paramount at Flower Child, and the Prep Cook must rigorously follow all food safety standards to maintain a clean and organized workspace. The ability to perform calmly and efficiently during busy periods is essential, as this role supports the smooth operation of the kitchen and overall restaurant. Effective communication skills and the physical stamina to stand for long periods and occasionally lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds) are important attributes for this position.
