Job Requirements

  • high school education or equivalent
  • minimum one-year food service or related experience
  • ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items up to 70 pounds
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work in varying temperature environments
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations

  • knowledge of standard portion sizes and cooking methods
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Job Duties

  • prepare food items according to production requirements and quality standards
  • complete opening and closing checklists
  • prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using kitchen equipment
  • maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • attend all scheduled employee meetings
  • report equipment and food quality issues promptly
  • comply with nutrition, sanitation and safety regulations
