The position at Belle & Grey offers an hourly rate of $19.00 and involves preparing food items in alignment with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Key responsibilities include completing opening and closing kitchen checklists, preparing various meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables for cooking using different kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers, and adhering strictly to standardized portion sizes and recipe guidelines.
Beyond food preparation, the role requires maintaining cleanliness of the workstation and kitchen equipment, assisting with kitchen closing duties, attending all scheduled team meetings, and adhering to all safety, nutrition, and sanitation regulations. The position demands strong team collaboration and communication with kitchen staff, as well as prompt reporting of equipment or food quality issues to the chef on duty. Additionally, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor towards coworkers and customers is essential.
