Job Description

Anthony's is a family-owned group of restaurants with 25 locations across the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. For over 50 years, Anthony's has been dedicated to showcasing the best of the region through fresh local seafood, in-season ingredients, and genuine hospitality. The company operates a unique business model by running its own wholesale company, which allows it to source directly from local fishermen, ranchers, and trusted partners. This ensures that only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients make it to the kitchens every day, reinforcing its commitment to quality and sustainability.

Anthony's is more than just a dining destination; it is a passionate employer that values its team members as much as it values its food. The company invests in its employees through competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and opportunities for career advancement. The work environment is supportive and encourages growth, skill development, and long-term career building. Whether individuals are new to the industry or seasoned professionals seeking new career opportunities, Anthony's fosters a welcoming atmosphere where employees can thrive and contribute to the community.

The Prep Cook position at Anthony's plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. This role involves preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them according to recipes and kitchen standards. The Prep Cook supports chefs and cooks by handling essential food preparation tasks, which ensures that the kitchen can deliver timely and high-quality meals to guests. Attention to cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards is a key responsibility, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Working as a Prep Cook at Anthony's provides an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills, work collaboratively with a dedicated team, and enjoy a stable work schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. The position is a tipped role, which can provide additional earning potential for hardworking individuals. Anthony's values individuals who have a passion for food, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. The company also encourages team members to continue learning and growing as part of their career path.

Anthony’s offers comprehensive benefits that support the health and well-being of its employees, including medical insurance options for full-time employees, dental and vision coverage, voluntary life insurance, and pet insurance. The company also provides a 401(k) plan with a discretionary annual match, paid time off accrued for front-of-house employees, scholarship opportunities, meal discounts, and employee assistance programs such as the LifeWorks Wellness App.

As an equal opportunity employer, Anthony's is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment where all team members feel valued and respected. The company requires candidates to be at least 18 years old to apply and is excited to welcome new team members who share their dedication to quality, community, and hospitality.
