The role of Prep Cook at Leisure Care is an essential part of its food service operations. The Prep Cook is responsible for setting up and providing quality service in all areas of food production. This role requires a solid understanding of basic food preparation skills, the ability to perform these tasks accurately, and adherence to company quality standards. Typical duties include preparing basic food items such as stocks, soups, and vegetables, accurately measuring ingredients according to recipes, maintaining knowledge of equipment use and maintenance, and following daily production schedules to complete all assignments on time. This position is ideal for individuals with at least one year of kitchen experience who have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a senior living environment.
