Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures ranging from freezing (below 32 degrees Fahrenheit) to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Cut fruits and vegetables following all safety and sanitation rules
- ensure product meets Whole Foods Market guidelines for quality and preparation
- maintain sampling program
- clean department continuously and maintain sweep logs
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers timely and effectively
- maximize sales potential through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follow and comply with procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- report safety hazards and violations immediately
- perform other duties as assigned by leadership
