Job Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and move for long shifts in a fast-paced kitchen
- Commitment to sanitation, safety, and cleanliness
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in tight spaces
- Willingness to follow directions and work collaboratively
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work with knives and perform precise portioning
- Capacity to communicate effectively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction
- Familiarity with Japanese cuisine or chef-driven dining is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients accurately and consistently according to prep lists, recipes, and standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces
- Support basic cooking tasks to assist culinary team during service
- Communicate continuously with kitchen team to keep service flowing smoothly
- Perform knife work and portioning with precision and craftsmanship
- Fully engage in active kitchen environment, handling physical demands and pace of prep work
- Demonstrate dependability and professionalism with full availability for shifts
