Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a prep cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work positively with others
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Team-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Cut foods per standardized recipes
  • Read and follow recipes
  • Pre-weigh, measure, and package foods for later use by line cooks
  • Prepare sauces, dressings, batters, and other items
  • Cook or bake certain food items for later use
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the prep area
  • Manage trash
  • Complete daily cleaning and organizational tasks assigned by the Chef
  • Assist others as needed
