Being a Prep Cook at CPK means you will contribute to the overall guest experience by ensuring high-quality food preparation that adheres to CPK's exacting standards. You will be responsible for following established recipes, procedures, and techniques to prepare menu items that showcase CPK's commitment to fresh, flavorful, and innovative dishes. This entry-level position will have a hands-on role in receiving goods, managing daily inventory of prepared foods, and maintaining proper storage and rotation to ensure freshness and food safety. The Prep Cook is also responsible for practicing and teaching proper sanitation and safety practices, handling kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the prep station. Being detail-oriented and dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and sanitation is fundamental to succeeding in this role. Prep Cooks also perform station opening and closing duties and assist in side work to uphold the smooth operation of the kitchen and service areas. This position offers a competitive pay range from $16.90 to $18.90 per hour and may include various employee benefits such as 401K, health, dental, and disability insurance subject to eligibility and coverage requirements.
