Proudly serving authentic island flavors, Mo' Bettahs has carved out a special niche in the restaurant industry by blending quality and culture to create a welcoming dining experience for customers. As a community-focused establishment, it places a strong emphasis on team collaboration, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The restaurant prides itself on providing a friendly atmosphere where employees and customers alike feel valued and appreciated.

Now hiring for the Prep/Back of House position, Mo' Bettahs offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start or continue their career in the food service industry. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen and overall food preparation area. The position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are ready to engage in both food preparation and general kitchen maintenance. While some prior kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, Mo' Bettahs is eager to train motivated and enthusiastic team members ready to learn and grow.

The Prep/Back of House role involves various responsibilities including preparing food according to company standards, washing dishes to keep the kitchen running smoothly, and adhering to food safety and handling policies. Candidates will need to collaborate closely with others on the team to ensure a well-organized and hygienic workspace. The job requires flexibility and the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours. Mo' Bettahs values employees who are friendly and adaptable, capable of maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

This position offers competitive benefits including free meals and drinks during shifts, discounts for employees and their families or friends on off days, and flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time shifts available. Full-time employees can also take advantage of health, vision, dental, and life insurance benefits. The opportunity is structured to support employees’ work-life balance and growth within the company, making it a rewarding career choice for those interested in the food and hospitality industry.

Candidates should be prepared for physical demands such as prolonged standing and sitting, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in various environments including occasional outdoor conditions. The job requires the ability to communicate effectively, follow operational protocols, and maintain a safe workplace. Mo' Bettahs is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment free from harassment or discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, and other protected categories.
