Job Description
Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living is a distinguished continuing care retirement community situated on a beautiful 84-acre campus in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, just minutes away from Denver. Managed by Erickson Senior Living, one of the largest and most respected providers of senior living and health care in the United States, Wind Crest offers residents a vibrant lifestyle, financial stability, and dedicated health and well-being services. The community emphasizes a culture that values diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging, supporting both residents and team members alike. Being part of the Erickson Senior Living network means working for an employer committed to equal opportunities and maintaining a workplace free from unlawful discrimination or harassment based on any protected category according to federal, state, or local law.
We are currently seeking a Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and teamwork and have some culinary experience. As a Prep Cook at Wind Crest, you will contribute directly to our Signature Dining Programs, where food is prepared à la minute, meaning dishes are chef-inspired and freshly made to order. Working in state-of-the-art kitchens with top-notch equipment, you'll have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to creating high-quality menu items that enhance resident satisfaction.
The position offers competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour and includes a variety of benefits designed to support your quality of life, including paid time off (PTO), volunteer hours, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible team members, and a 401(k) plan with a company match. We foster work-life balance by ensuring most restaurant team members finish their shifts before 9 PM. You will also enjoy a 30 percent discount on food and beverages at our on-site dining venues, access to healthy meal options at discounted prices, and onsite medical centers offering wellness and sick care for team members over 18 years of age.
This role not only offers a competitive salary but also potential growth opportunities within the company as Erickson Senior Living expands and opens new communities. Joining the team means you will be part of a supportive environment that values continuous learning, personal and professional growth, and a commitment to excellence in service.
