Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work flexible part-time hours
- physical ability to lift and move kitchen supplies as needed
- willingness to follow all health and safety regulations

- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties
- Measuring ingredients and seasoning to be used in cooking
- prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other items for prep
- label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- set up work stations so food can be prepared according to recipes
- maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- ensure that food and other items are stored properly
- comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- perform other kitchen duties as assigned
