Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous prep cook experience in a high-volume or upscale kitchen preferred
- Solid knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety
- Ability to follow detailed recipes
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous prep cook experience in a high-volume or upscale kitchen preferred
- Solid knife skills, knowledge of kitchen safety, and ability to follow detailed recipes
- A calm, focused presence and the ability to work independently
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, dressings, and components for daily service
- Follow prep lists and recipe standards with accuracy, consistency, and care
- Label, date, and store all prepped items in compliance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked prep station at all times
- Support the culinary team by anticipating needs and staying ahead of volume
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries as needed
- Communicate clearly with chefs and line cooks to keep operations running smoothly
- Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel
