Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • ability to work in both hot and cool environments
  • able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily or as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience with a strong passion for food and people
  • good knife skills
  • team player with a good attitude and sense of urgency
  • ability to read and follow written recipes
  • self accountable in upholding high standards
  • willingness to learn and develop
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Duties

  • Preparing and prepping high volumes of vegetables and protein
  • making homemade sauces and marinades
  • baking desserts
  • putting away and rotating produce and food orders
  • maintaining pars and counts of responsible items
  • maintaining exceptional food safety and sanitation practices
  • using kitchen machinery including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors, and blenders properly
  • following recipes and adhering to food specs ensuring quality and consistency
  • properly opening, closing and cleaning your station
  • performing additional responsibilities as requested
