Job Requirements
- Up to date certifications required by state regulations
- Ability to follow recipes and directions work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a prep cook or kitchen support role is preferred but not required
- Up to date certifications required by state regulations
- Ability to follow recipes and directions work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Basic knowledge of food preparation including knife skills and safe handling of ingredients
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent high-quality food
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients including chopping vegetables stewing meats preparing sauces and other prep work required
- Follow recipe guidelines and standards to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean properly sanitized and stocked throughout service hours
- Assist with setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after shifts
- Support line cooks by ensuring all necessary ingredients and supplies are ready for meal service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of ingredients and supplies and communicate any shortages to the chef
