Job Requirements
- Food handler or certification if mandated by local, state, or federal codes
- Ability to lift 75 pounds 2-6 times per shift
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, climb stairs, cut, and slice
- Frequent immersion of hands in water approximately every 5 minutes
- Ability to maintain physical agility and dexterity
- Full sense of touch, smell, sight, taste, and hearing
Job Qualifications
- Food handler certification if mandated by local, state, or federal codes
- Ability to read and write for understanding recipes and guest orders
- Knowledge of weights and measurements
- Strong communication skills
- Physical agility and dexterity of both hands
- Professional and clean appearance
- Ability to speak clearly
Job Duties
- Prepare all raw foods including salads and batch vegetables
- Portion raw meats, fish, and poultry accurately
- Set up and man a portion of the line during meal production
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Follow health and safety regulations strictly
- Occasionally oversee and train kitchen staff as directed
- Adhere to all pub policies and procedures
