As a member of the Puttshack team, the Prep Cook plays a critical role in supporting this elevated guest experience by preparing high-quality menu items that align with the expectations set by the Executive Chef. The position requires the individual to be meticulous in ingredient preparation, adhering strictly to recipes and portion controls to guarantee consistency and excellence. Additionally, the Prep Cook is responsible for setting up and maintaining the prep station, managing inventory, and ensuring all sanitation and safety standards are met to preserve a clean and efficient kitchen environment. The role demands flexibility and a team-oriented mindset, especially given the variable schedules that cater to the venue’s operational hours that typically span from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age to apply
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds
- Work in confined, crowded space with high noise levels and various temperature levels
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen
- Experience operating kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
- Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment
Job Duties
- Bring your 'A' game each and every day
- Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs
- Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
- Prepare all ingredients according to portions and recipes
- Communicate inventory or quality issues to Culinary Leadership
- Ability to read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently
- Accurately account for all items coming out of a station
- Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS
- Take direction and be a team player
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
- Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties
