As a Prep Cook at Din Tai Fung, located at 181 Southcenter Mall, Tukwila, WA 98188 (Westfield Southcenter), you play a crucial role in setting the kitchen up for success by preparing the ingredients that will bring the restaurant's dishes to life. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $24.25 per hour, reflecting the importance of the job in maintaining the high standards set by the brand. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries, inspecting ingredient quality, and handling produce with accuracy and care. You will wash, cut, and prepare food items according to Din Tai Fung’s established standards and procedures, focusing heavily on precision and consistency.

The Prep Cook must familiarize themselves with the standard cutting sizes for vegetables and maintain a clean and organized prep station. Thoroughly washing all produce helps ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently throughout service hours.
