Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • previous culinary experience
  • team player with a good attitude
  • ability to read and follow written recipes
  • reliable transportation
  • able to work in hot and cool environments
  • able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • self accountable in upholding high standards
  • able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily
  • willingness to learn and develop
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification (if not certified, willingness to obtain)

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience with a strong passion for food and people
  • good knife skills
  • ability to read and follow written recipes
  • team player with a good attitude and sense of urgency
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Duties

  • Prepare and prep high volumes of vegetables and protein
  • make homemade sauces and marinades
  • bake desserts
  • put away and rotate produce and food orders
  • maintain pars and counts of responsible items
  • maintain exceptional food safety and sanitation practices
  • use kitchen machinery including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors, and blenders properly
  • follow recipes and adhere to food specs ensuring quality and consistency
  • properly open, close, and clean your station
  • perform additional responsibilities as requested
