We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen staff. The Prep Cook plays a critical role in supporting our culinary operations by assisting in the preparation of various dishes according to recipe cards and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position involves preparing salads, cutting pastries, setting up and serving on deli bars and hot lines, and maintaining proper sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and service areas. A successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a passion for food preparation. This role also requires operating basic kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, microwaves, and refrigerators.

The Prep Cook will work closely under the direction of the Manager and culinary team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, including procuring ingredients from the storeroom or refrigerator, preparing cold cut sandwiches, and replenishing items on both cold and hot lines. A core responsibility is to maintain cleanliness by following the 'Clean as You Go' method, sanitizing equipment such as juice machines and condiment bins, and ensuring the salad bar and deli standards are consistently met.
