Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to follow established recipe cards and SOPs
  • experience operating kitchen equipment such as stove oven microwave and refrigerator
  • ability to prepare sandwiches salads and desserts
  • good communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness using sanitation procedures
  • willingness to perform various kitchen duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing meals using established recipe cards ensuring all tasks are complete in accordance with SOPs
  • use standardized measuring cups spoons knives forks large kitchen utensils pots and pans
  • operate basic kitchen equipment stove oven microwave refrigerator etc
  • procure daily storage from storeroom or refrigerator as requested and prepare cold cut sandwiches
  • serve customers under the direction of the Manager for correct portions and menu combinations
  • prepare sandwiches salads desserts slicing pies and cakes
  • assist in setting up serving lines and salad bars
  • clean and sanitize condiment bins before replenishing after each meal
  • assure juice machine is cleaned sanitized and replenished as required
  • maintain sanitation standards by Clean as You Go method
  • perform other duties as assigned
