Job Requirements

  • One year of prep experience in a fast-paced full-service restaurant
  • passion for excellence superior service standards and a positive attitude
  • open availability including mornings weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand walk and move throughout the shift including frequent bending lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and stooping
  • ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies ensuring proper inventory control
  • cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff according to Hogsalt Recipe Index ensuring food quality and time standards are met
  • maintain a high level of communication and understand verbiage for call backs of menu items keeping lines of dialogue open and relevant to service
  • answer report to and follow instructions and direction from Prep Lead Sous Chef Executive Chef or other leadership
  • properly clean and break down station at end of service ensuring all food handling and storage standards are met
  • ensure kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times
  • maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers leadership and vendors
