Cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen equipment and work area to a 'like new' condition form an essential part of daily responsibilities, emphasizing the 'clean as you go' philosophy.

Job Duties

  • Station ready to work at scheduled time and proper uniform
  • Maintain brisk and steady pace, organized work without unnecessary steps
  • Ensure 100 percent recipe knowledge when prepping or assisting production
  • Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards for portion control and perform portion tests
  • Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness to a like new condition
  • Complete assigned tasks productively within specific time periods
  • Stock supplies before rush periods
  • Practice teamwork and effective communication
