Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Basic understanding of food safety protocols
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking including chopping vegetables and measuring spices
Ensure proper stocking of kitchen and line with necessary ingredients and supplies
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean kitchen environment
Assist chefs and line cooks with food preparation to ensure timely completion of orders
Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep areas throughout the shift
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth operations
Adhere to Yard House’s core values and contribute to a positive team culture
