Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a well-established lifestyle brand that combines a Napa-style tasting room, wine-inspired retail, and a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space to deliver a modern yet casual dining experience. Founded in 2005, the company has steadily grown to become known for blending exquisite food with a curated wine selection. The company's Napa-style concept extends beyond just food and wine, offering Wine Club memberships that provide exclusive benefits such as award-winning wines and specially curated dining and travel experiences. Furthermore, Cooper's Hawk continues to innovate and expand its offerings, recently introducing Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, which brings the vibrant flavors of Rome to its patrons. This combination of high-quality culinary experiences and superior wine selections cultivates a unique community and a memorable lifestyle brand for its guests and members.

The role of Prep Cook at Cooper's Hawk is an exciting opportunity for individuals who bring heart and precision to every task in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Prep Cooks at Cooper's Hawk are responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality ingredients that set the foundation for a great dining experience. Their role involves carefully slicing, portioning, and plating, along with maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-stocked workstation. A Prep Cook supports the broader kitchen team and ensures consistency in every dish, fostering a culture of uncompromising hospitality.

In this role, Prep Cooks will prepare vegetables, fruits, hot and cold sauces, carve meats and cheeses, and help maintain kitchen equipment, all while following recipes with accuracy and adhering to food safety standards. Cooperation and communication with teammates and managers are vital to ensure smooth kitchen flow and timely service. This position offers the chance to advance through a career growth flight plan, enjoy wine and culinary education, and participate in monthly wine tastings. The company also values work-life balance with flexible schedules, paid time off, and wellness support. This role provides a chance to be part of a dynamic, high-energy team that truly values each member's contribution toward creating exceptional dining experiences.
