Job Requirements

High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
Experience with food preparation and handling
Must have good understanding of the English language
Ability to compute basic arithmetic and to comprehend and follow recipes with the appropriate cooking techniques

Job Duties

Produces required cold prep items in kitchen to forecasted business
Reviews production sheets, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and par sheets in order to prepare for the day’s events
Produces all cold food presentations for buffets, banquets and a la carte
Finishes desserts for a la carte, buffets, and banquets
Prepares all food to the highest quality and appearance in accordance with approved recipes
Helps out on pantry, hot line, and/or omelet station when needed
