Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience with food preparation and handling
  • Must have good understanding of the English language
  • Ability to compute basic arithmetic and to comprehend and follow recipes with the appropriate cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • Produces required cold prep items in kitchen to forecasted business
  • Reviews production sheets, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and par sheets in order to prepare for the day’s events
  • Produces all cold food presentations for buffets, banquets and a la carte
  • Finishes desserts for a la carte, buffets, and banquets
  • Prepares all food to the highest quality and appearance in accordance with approved recipes
  • Helps out on pantry, hot line, and/or omelet station when needed
