Job Requirements

  • Experience as a prep cook or similar role in a scratch kitchen
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable and punctual

  • Culinary degree or diploma preferred
  • Experience in a brunch restaurant or similar setting preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items for cooking such as chopping vegetables preparing sauces and marinating meats
  • Assemble dishes for cooking such as measuring and mixing ingredients
  • Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
