Job Duties

  • Wash, chop, slice, dice, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients for recipes, sauces, and dressings
  • Organize and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and tools for cooks
  • Keep prep areas, tools, and equipment clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Monitor supplies, label items, put away deliveries, and alert managers to shortages
  • Follow all food safety guidelines, clean spills, and take out trash
  • Assist line cooks during service by providing prepared ingredients and performing other duties like dishwashing as needed
