Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work days nights weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to following all health safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent handwashing and use of gloves required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Multiple station experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking and preparation methods ingredients and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
  • Excellent teamwork organization and communication skills
  • Safe Food Handler certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for service including chopping portioning mixing and measuring
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas throughout the shift
  • Label date and store all food items properly for freshness and safety
  • Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Work quickly and efficiently to support timely food preparation
  • Communicate equipment product or supply needs to management promptly
  • Assist in training new kitchen team members when requested
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
