The role of Prep Cook at Maple Hospitality Group is crucial in supporting the culinary team by ensuring the consistent preparation of quality food products during daily operations. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, with a dotted line relationship to the Corporate Executive Chef and Chef/Owner Danny Grant, the Prep Cook plays an integral role in helping maintain the brand's high standards. Job Duties

  • Assist and follow the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in daily prep and service
  • ensure quality of product in preparation
  • complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • follow recipes and chef’s direction on all menu items
  • strive to uphold excellence in food quality and performance
  • communicate clearly with Sous Chefs and kitchen staff
  • prep and cook while working smart, clean, organized, and calculate
  • maintain an organized work station and shared storage facilities
  • maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following sanitation standards, complying with health and legal regulations and maintaining security systems
  • maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times in a fast-paced environment
