As a company, MHG prides itself on a culture that values generosity on all levels, making moments special for every guest, and evolving its offerings with intentional and meticulous attention to detail. Their culinary philosophy and heartfelt service ensure that every restaurant under their umbrella stands out with a distinctive brand of hospitality that is both sincere and unforgettable. Operating upscale, high-volume establishments, MHG builds its reputation on impeccable food, elegant design, and seamless service that captivates food enthusiasts and hospitality lovers alike.
The company is currently seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join their dynamic kitchen team. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef management team, with an additional dotted line relationship to Corporate Executive Chef and Chef/Owner Danny Grant, ensuring alignment with MHG’s high standards and vision. The Prep Cook will be instrumental in assisting daily food preparation and service operations to maintain consistency and superior product quality. This position requires experience in upscale and fast-paced restaurant environments, a passion for culinary arts, and an energetic, professional demeanor. The prep cook will be expected to support kitchen efficiency by following recipes, maintaining clean and organized workstations, and upholding rigorous health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of prep cook experience, an ability to thrive within a systems-driven environment, and a commitment to upholding the hospitality group's values and policies. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, adhering closely to the Executive Chef’s guidance, and contributing to a harmonious kitchen atmosphere through clear communication and teamwork. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and endure extended standing or walking periods. By joining Maple Hospitality Group, the prep cook becomes part of a team that celebrates creativity, passion, and continuous improvement, contributing to a unique and memorable dining experience at every turn. Maple Hospitality Group values diversity and is an equal-opportunity employer, fostering an inclusive workplace free from discrimination or bias of any kind. This position offers the opportunity to grow one's culinary skills in an inspiring, supportive, and innovative environment where food is truly made with love and every moment with guests is cherished.
